Probably the most novel and refreshing way to spend your honeymoon-- no butler, no room service, no cable TV--- Taal Lake Yatch Club in Talisay dares you to break into a sweat and exorcise the cubicle cloistered city mouse out of you.
WHAT TO DO
CAMPING; Taal Lake Yacth Club is the perfect venue for a full outdoor experience. If you haven't got a tent, the resort has many for rent. You can also rent a nativee style cabana to lounge4 and eat in. You don't have to worry about doing your business in a latrine. TLYC has has grade-A bahrooms, and hot water for bathing is available upon request. If you're not up for grilling your own meals, food is readilly available through their menu. And during week ends, they open up their floating bar-and-restaurant.If you aren't exsactly the portrait of a happy camper, don't panic. Just next door from TLYC is a cottage-rental facility owned by the friendliest and coolest German guy on he planet. Different cottages with varying capacities from flats to those with huge living space and a loft--occupy the rim of a huge and grassy lawn, also right across the shore of Taal Lake. There are also sheds with tables ans chairs, and grilling and washing facilities for daytrip picnics.
Water play: Being called what it is, Taal Lake Yatch Club's forerunning attraction is its sailing. Priding themselves as a :club by sailors, for sailors," TLYC's owners center around the spot rather than skyrocketing membership fees. You don't have to be a member to avail of their sail training programs, and you pay a very minimal annual fee should you decide to sign up. Hobie 16s and the toppers are their main sailing and racing class vessels, all of which are also available for rent.
Other waters sports with facilities at hands are windsurfing, kayaking, and rowing. Then of course, there is the option of actully swimming in the Lake. Many say the Lake's sulfuric content gives the water medicinal properties, and regular immersion in it is good for the skin.
On dry land; Hiking and trekking trips to the rim crater of Taal Volcano can easily be arranged and facilitated by a tour guide. The entire jaunt, including the boat ride to and from the volcano, Usually takes three to four hours. It would be ideal to start the trek early morning to be back in TLYC by lunch. For utmost safety measures, the chattered boats are equipped with cell phones, life jackets, and fire extinguishers. And there are always extra boats on standby for emergencies.

Far from any semblance of city living, you got the stars above, the lake across you, Tagaytay's infamous breeze, and a vista of mountain and volcanic terrain to wake up to. PINK PATIO RESORT,BORACAY

Boracay cojures images of what Manila and the rest of the Philippine citihood are not-crime-free,pristine,and abundant in clean and clear water.Yeah,yeah,yeah,we`ve heard an awful lot of that claptrap(and more).Why,then,are we including the overrated Visayan island in this feature?Obviously,because we`ve discovered some thing hidden in boracay.
Tucked right at the heart of the island is an intriguing resort called Pink Patio,which perfectly suits your break-in stage.
some clarifications,though:(1)Pink Patio does not have a beauty parlor and (2) the patio is just a small part of it.This cozy resort is a two-minute walk from the busy beachfront,longer if you think leaping frogs are any obstruction.
Aside from frogs,however,Pink Patio also abounds in a chok-full of facilities and boast of uber clasy rooms,making it the envy of the lot in Boracay.The Department of Tourism has accredited it as a triple-A resort,but who says you can`t make that triple X?
WHAT TO DO
What you cannot do in Boracay can be summoned up in one word: nothing, of course, we all know that, thank you. And Pink Patio is sure to provide more than a tan and an ocular yreat for you and your missus.
Wall climbing: Pink Patio boast of having the onle 11-m Rock Wall in Boracay. Reaching the top will make you an instant hunk, and your girl will love you for it.
Body building: A tamer excercise than sex. The Alpha Fitness Center has the most comprehensive set of gym equipment, and tenants from other hotel-resorts actually hop into Pink Patio for this.
Sauna; Relaxing and self explanatory.

Jet skiing: Lord over the corals and fish underneath you in this adrenaline rush. Just make sure you don't get lost.
Island hopping/snorkeling; Explore the wilderness in the sorroundings islands. Say hello to the fish in the sea. Get a little more intimate with nature; it's crazy.
Paraw sailing: A 100% must-try, survey the Boracay waters in a more laid back mood, and the pair of your bound to sink in the ocean of love. Holding hands while humming to Christopher Cross`"Sailing," however, is optional.

Everybody knows that Boracay is a shagging paradise,but the ideais to get a bit more exotic. To cure your itch, the gym at Pink Patio is a potential midnight spot, although the roving guards-- and hidden cameras--make it a difficult hit. Just try, and if all else fails, the dark inner recesses behind the resorts are ready and willing to give you consolation.

Oceana, Puerto Galera

Oceana in Dulangan Beach,Puerto Galera, is a painless vacation. you get all the luxuries of a first-class resort (i.e., aircon, a decent phone signal, cable TV, a clean beach and an excellent view of the sea) but it's all cheaper and more accessible.
what to do
Oceana is the one prettiest resorts in Puerto Galera. It's not in White Beach or Sabang, which means that you're very far from crowds, girly bars hawkers following you to the toilet selling cheap souvenirs, and loud speakers blaring out "Asereje!" every five minutes. The whole resort is set up like a mini hacienda: The rooms are strewn around the main building, which overlooks a huge swimming pool. The main building is where people converge--- to eat, watch TV, read books.
Take a stab at darts, pingpong, beach volleyball, kayaking around the island, billards, or football---- it's all free anyway.(There are also plans to add a rock climbing wall.)
Snag a room facing the beach for A/C, cable TV and feel like you never left your house. And if you do want to go home (in cases of office emergencies or extreme wife-ly PMS wrought fights), it only takes three hours to get back o civilization (two by land plus one by boat). if your wife hides, the car keys, you always have alternatives: There are at leats five ferries a day and buses from the pier every hour. If you hate planning and think itinenary is a four-letter word,dont fear. You can go on tours that have every step already planned by the resort.
Scuba Dive: Puerto Galera is one of the best places in the country for diving. On any given dive, it's possible to see the huge schools of tuna, sharks, and even the occasional pawikan. The canyons, which start from the "hole in the wall," have lots og huge, wild fish like matting jacks. You can also go to Shark caves, a series of caves where whitetip sharks breed and sleep in the dark crevices.
Beach hopping; If you're feeling adventurous (or need to see more people), you can rent a boat and go beach hopping!
Sabang has good restaurant, while White Beach has the longest beach on the island. The boatmen can also take you to deserted, privates coves around Puerto Galera."The boatmen can cook a picnic lucnh just for our guest on different beaches. Land exploring: Chauffered vehickes take you around the island. You can play golf at the Ponderosa Golf Course(30 minutes away) then swim in the Tamaraw Falls. Motorbike rentals are available around the island, so if you're not into other people driving you around, you can just satisfy your wander lust on your own. (You don't even have to miss the cheap messages that people usuallyget in {Puerto Galera---massages at Oceana P350 per hour.)
IF YOU WANT IT EXTRA HOT And when you don't want to do anything but chill, you can stay at your veranda and lounge,sunbathe---or make out, it's your honeymoon for crying out loud!--in one of the four big cabanas around the property. They're prime romantic hotspots, especially with all the pink and red pillows can lie on.

Fort Ilocandia, Ilocos

Flanked by Vigan and Laoag, two of Northern Luzon's anchor tourist spots that have put Ilocos on the map as a World Heritage Site, Fort Ilocandia is hardly an untapped paradise awaiting in discovery. But the testosterone-packed male is yet to be convinced that there is action to be had in a land with no sports bar in sight.

WHAT TO DO

Hit the beach: The 77-hectare property lies amidst cascading dunes that give way to mine kilometers of fine sand beach . More private and secluded than most commercial resorts, the beach offers a great place to take in a tan or a simply enjoy a cold mug of beer while watching the sunset.

Or hit the green

City tours on foot:

A short drive from Fort Ilocandia takes you to Vigan, where a strolldown the famous Mena Crisologo St. presents you with rows of ancestral cobblestone houses that have been turned into thrift shops, bed and breakfast inns,and quaint museums. Touring via calesa is an appealing option come midday. Vigan's architectural wonders are te rich 18th century monuments and churches, the greatest testament to which is the Neo-Gothic and Romanesque inspired St. Paul's Cathedral built by friars. Vigan is also a good place to shops for antiques and crafts--doors and door frames which have been restored from their original homes, loveseats flanked with authentic calesa wheels at the arm rests,tiles, pottery and handloom woven fabrics. You can't leave withpout sampling Vigan's famous empanada, of course. Then there is Laoag, the crown city of Ilocos's northern half. Though bustling with small-scale industries and trade, Laoag has managed to keep life charmingly rustic. Also another haven teeming with untouched, Spanish-era architecture, one of its points of interest is St. William's Cathedral, a church carrying Itallian Renaissance design, also built by friars. Seem from the church is the Sinking Bell Tower, as it stands with a northward incline.

Love the Nightlife, Love to Boogie:

After you've gone back to Fort Ilocandia, if you still have energy to spare, try your gambling hands at the hotel's casino Filipino or relive your do-si-do lessons at Monte Carlo Club. The less adrenaline-pumped may opt for a session at the karaoke bar.
